When you work with Kummara you will receive a culturally safe and respectful service. We are aware that every family is unique and that raising children can be stressful at times. Our qualified and empathetic staff are non judgmental and have an understanding of life's struggles whilst recognizing your strengths and abilities.

We will help you make sense of what is going on when you feel overwhelmed and help you address the goals that are important to you.

We have a wide range of programs and services. You can participate in our community programs like our parenting program, playgroup or cultural events. We can also work with you and your family individually, which means we will visit you in your home or somewhere else comfortable and might help you with budgeting, managing your child's behaviour or assist you in working together with government agencies and schools. We have in depth knowledge of both community and government services in your area, which we will point out to you if we think they can be of help.

Ultimately, you will be in charge of what we work on and how we do this. We in turn will provide you with the support and expertise necessary to get you and your family to where you want to be.
