Creating Options Program:
Provides an outpatient alcohol & drug treatment service for adults experiencing significant difficulties due to alcohol &/or other drug use, including those with significant co-existing mental health issues.
The program provides intensive clinical support and treatment to overcome or manage harms associated with alcohol and other drugs.
Services include, assessment; case management; case formulation; counselling; detoxification support; psycho-education; social-skills training; relapse prevention; and referral strategies.
Drug, Alcohol, Assessment & Referral Program:
Provides a two-hour assessment and referral service for young people and adults, 18 years & over who have been charged with a prescribed offence and it is alleged that the offence was committed in a public place while the person was affected by an intoxicating substance, including but not restricted to alcohol and illegal drugs.
Breakthrough for Families:
Breakthrough for Families helps families and significant others of individuals affected by ice and other drugs to obtain information, develop support strategies and connect to treatment and other services.
The program provides families and the broader community affected by ice and other drugs access to free, accessible information, and tailored strategies to help themselves and others.
Once connection has been made with families, face-to-face counselling and education sessions are available in all locations.
Families are also able to access community forums and workshops to gain information and learn solutions and next steps.
The voluntary program is delivered in community settings and has a strong focus on helping people who may not have easy access to support.
Family Support Program (FSP):
An early intervention program providing support for children, young people and families.
The program improves the well-being and safety of children and their families, to help preserve families and to prevent re-entry to the statutory child protection system.
Through individual case management and support groups, the program works to build the capacity of individuals, young people and their families to cope with adversity and overcome emotional and psychological harm caused by abuse or neglect.
The program is tailored for families at risk of entering the statutory child protection system with infants, children and young people 0 to 18 years old.
