A social justice initiative, working in collaboration with St Mary's Catholic Community, that provides support for individuals and families experiencing adversity due to poverty, homelessness, mental illness, domestic violence, disability and discrimination due to age, gender or sexual orientation.
Family, Women & Children's Support Services:
Provides families, women and children and their partners who are vulnerable, homeless or at risk of homelessness with information, advocacy, needs assessment, safety plans and access to education, training, housing, employment and child support.
Butterfly Place & Caterpillar House Young Mothers for Young Women (YMYW):
Provides a range of support and advocacy services for pregnant and parenting women up to 25 years old and for their children and partners.
Coordinated Access & Referral:
Provides a range of innovative and evidence-based responses to prevent homelessness.
Services include quick-response support for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and proactive outreach support for people sleeping rough.
A homelessness crisis & referral service, information, referral, support and advocacy are also available to assist people in preventing homelessness, accessing emergency housing and finding suitable long-term housing options.
Home For Good:
Provides service coordination for individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Access to crisis and long-term housing and support services is available through brokerage.
Individuals and families presenting or referred for assistance are assessed and linked with appropriate community, health and housing services, within available resources.
Individual planning is provided for those with emergency or transitional needs and who are living in community housing to help them secure affordable and stable housing.
