Brisbane North Community Legal Service:
Brisbane North Community Legal Service is a generalist community legal service which provides free legal advice, information and referral for individuals on a range of legal matters including but not limited to: family law; neighbourhood disputes; criminal law matters; employment law issues; consumer issues; credit & debt issues; estates; wills; and enduring power of attorney.
The following services and activities are provided: individual day time appointments with the principal solicitor; evening walk in legal service; community education; and information & referral.

This service is available for all people who meet the eligibility criteria including Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people.

Ineligibility:
BNCLS is unable to provide legal advice & information services for the following matters:
-Immigration
-Taxation law
-Native title
-Major commercial & building matters.

The following services are not provided drafting & witnessing wills & Enduring Power of Attorney:
-Witnessing of documents
-Case work & legal representation at Court events, mediation or at any other event before a tribunal.
-BNCLS does not advise as a client, anyone who was a volunteer, employee or management committee member of any Community Legal Centre without the express consent of the Principal Solicitor of BNCLS which will be subject considering the exception & PII Policy clause 6.4.
