Gold Coast

The Gold Coast Family Law Pathways Network focuses on enhancing and supporting collaboration between the diversity of its members. The membership compromises of professionals from the Legal, Social Science, Education and Health Care sectors, ranging from private to non-for-profit organisations. The primary objective is to create better outcomes for separated or separating families within the Family Law System.

The intent is to provide an interactive professional conversation at all events where professional learning and developments intertwines with collaborative practice and networking opportunities. The Network supports its members by tailoring professional development events based on feedback received from its members.

All professionals and services operating within the Family Law System are encouraged to become part of the Gold Coast Family Law Pathways Network.

Webinar Information Session

On Friday 20 September 2024, the Attorney-General’s Department released a
consultation paper on proposed changes to the regulations. The changes aim to
modernise the regulations, provide greater clarity about their application, and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the regulatory scheme. Submissions on the consultation paper are due by 21 October 2024.

In this session, the department will talk through what changes are proposed and why, to support stakeholders in developing and refining their feedback. The consultation paper is available to interested attendees on request, via the fdrregistration@ag.gov.au email.
