The Domestic Violence Action Centre provides free and confidential services for people experiencing domestic, family, and sexual violence in our catchment areas within South East Queensland.

Telephone information, referral, advocacy, crisis and support services to people experiencing violence to increase their safety.

Court support for Ipswich, Gatton, Toogoolawah, Toowoomba, Warwick, Stanthorpe, Goondiwindi, Chinchilla, Pittsworth, Dalby, and Oakey Courts.

Support services for women, children/young people and individuals in Greater Ipswich and Toowoomba regions as well as some satellite locations.

Support services in the Southern Downs for women, children/young people and individuals. Our team provide in person support by appointment from a confidential location in Warwick and at Court.

Group work for women, children/young people and individuals.

Safety upgrades for women wanting to stay in their homes.

Support for young people who have been impacted by domestic and family violence or sexual violence and have started to use violence against their mother or female caregiver.

Sexual violence support for people 12 years and up (therapeutic support for recent and historical abuse trauma).

Perpetrator Intervention Services – Men’s Behaviour Change Program (Toowoomba only) and pilot perpetrator intervention service with young people.

Emergency relief: DVAC can provide some limited emergency relief packages on a case-by-case basis and do have a separate waiting room for clients to wait for refuge or fleeing violence. This is made possible with the generous support of charitable donations.
