The DVAC team consists of trained Domestic Violence Specialists and Counsellors who are experienced in specialist domestic, family, and sexual violence support to individuals who are experiencing, have experienced or who use violence in their relationships.

Family Violence Prevention & Support:
Provides telephone information, advice & referral, crisis support, safety planning, group work and counselling for women, children and young people who are survivors of dating, family or domestic violence.
Court support including assistance with protection orders is provided at the Ipswich, Gatton and Toogoolawah Magistrates' Courts for victims of family violence.
Community Education:
Provides community education for schools and community groups as well as domestic violence training and resources for welfare workers and other professionals.
Domestic violence awareness campaigns and public education seminars are also conducted.
