Goondir Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Corporations for Health Services (Goondir Health Services) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) providing primary health care and related health services to the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) communities from Oakey in the South East of Queensland, Australia to St George in the South West of Queensland, Australia.
Goondir Health Services' Medical Clinics are located in the townships of Dalby, Oakey and St George in addition to a Mobile Medical Service (MMS). The clinics provide a range of primary health care services, including GP services, Aboriginal Health Practitioners/Workers, allied health services such as diabetes coordinators, maternal and child health nurses, hearing and health coordinators, and counsellors.
Goondir also provides dental care through a partnership with the University of Queensland School of Dentistry in Dalby and St George.
The Goondir Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) team consists of three staff, one of each based in Dalby, Oakey and St. George. The SEWB team provide support and healing through strengths based, culturally safe, trauma and healing informed approaches.
