Harmony Place provides supports in NDIS, mental health and care coordination to people from all walks of life.
We are a non-government community-based organisation, specialising in culturally sensitive services to strengthen the health and wellbeing of people from diverse cultural backgrounds. We work with children, refugees, asylum seekers, international students, migrants and their spouses, as well as Australian-born clients and community, and offer a range of specialist mental health programs that promote emotional and social wellbeing and reduce risk of mental illness, as well as NDIS services.

Mental Health Program:
Provides information, emotional support, psycho-education and referral to mental health services and other service providers for people with mental illness.

National Psychosocial Support (NPS):
Provides psychosocial support for people with severe mental illness who are not currently receiving supports through a program or the NDIS, or, who are existing clients of the Partners in Recovery (PIR), Support for Day to Day Living in the Community (D2DL) or Personal Helpers & Mentors (PHaMs) programs and who have not yet tested their eligibility for supports under the NDIS, or who are waiting to receive an access decision or approved support plan for the NDIS.

The service offers an integrated and coordinated approach to ensure that people with severe mental illness have access to, or continue to receive, the appropriate supports and services required to participate in everyday activities.

Supports can be provided individually or in a group and might focus on one or more area such as developing social skills & friendships; building relationships with family; managing money; finding & looking after a home; building skills & qualifications;
developing work goals; staying physically well including exercise; support with drug, alcohol & smoking issues; and building life skills including confidence & resilience.
These services are particularly for people from culturally & linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
