headspace Rockhampton provides information, support and services to young people aged 12-25 years who are experiencing, or are at risk of developing serious and persistent mental health problems. Their families/ carers and friends are important in the service model. Qualified mental health clinicians offer confidential advice and interventions to young people who have self-referred or been referred by a GP, family member, friend, school guidance officer or other concerned person.

The facility has been designed by young people to make it easier for them to access the services. A café has been set up in the Centre where young people will receive barista training and coffees will be sold to raise funds for new ventures. The café is the result of funding provided by the Black Dog Fund-raising Committee and a Stanwell Community Grant.
