Drug & Alcohol Counselling:
Confidential counselling and support are provided for people with alcohol or other drug-related problems. Support services also include the following: An opioid treatment program & ongoing treatment & support; Counselling & support for families; Early identification & intervention for substance abuse problems or referral to rehabilitation services if required; Referral & liaison with general medical practitioners & other relevant healthcare providers; Health promotion; and Education & community development activities. Culturally appropriate services are available for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander patients.
