Whether you are a parent, a young person, a concerned friend, neighbour or professional, if you are looking for information and advice on how you can best help yourself or someone else, you can call or drop into Family and Child Connect and speak to a real person about how to identify and access appropriate local support.
Family and Child Connects’ friendly and professional staff know all about the people and services in your area and they can help with any challenge a family might be facing.

Program activities
The program works with families to:
*Listen and understand their individual circumstances and how they might best be supported
*Provide brief practical or therapeutic support to move families out of crisis
*Work with and coach professionals who are in contact with families
*Link families to other supports who can help them address their specific needs

Families can self-refer to the program and can also be referred by others with the consent of the family (certain state government services can refer without consent); just call 13 32 64 (13 FAMILY) or complete the online referral form (available here: https://familysupportreferral.org.au/)
