The New Endings Men’s Program provides health awareness and access to services to empower men towards better health and lifestyle choices. All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Men over 18 years of age can access the service. The service also supports men transitioning from prison to the community. Referral to the service can be self, family member or other organisations.
The New Endings Men’s program Outreach workers assist you with health and support needs which may include:
• GP appointments
• Social Emotional & Wellbeing support
• Cultural support
• Culturally appropriate health promotion and education
• Referral to organisations like housing or Centalink
• Domestic violence support and or referral to appropriate services
• Support to access specialist health services
• Men’s Yarning Group
