A neighbourhood centre providing family & community support services including domestic violence support for women from culturally & linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds and emergency relief.
Family Support Program:
The program improves the well-being and safety of infants, children, young people 0 to 18 years old and their families by building the capacity of families to care for & protect their children.
The program provides linkages with external support services to enable families to access resources to stabilise & maintain family well-being.
Safer Pathways for Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Women:
The program provides assistance for young & adult women from culturally & linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds living in the Mackay area who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing family or domestic violence or sexual assault.
The program works closely with women, stakeholders and appropriate organisations to identify & reduce barriers so that women from culturally & linguistically diverse backgrounds living in Mackay can access relevant support services where needed.
