Bundaberg

The Bundaberg Family Law Pathways Network operates across the Bundaberg and Fraser Coast Council areas. It strives to benefit the community by improving the coordination within the Family Law System. We achieve this by fostering links with providers within the system and facilitate opportunities for ongoing education and learning for all stakeholders.

The ultimate goal is to create better outcomes for separated or separating families who are involved in the Family Law System.

Bundaberg Family Law Pathways Network is pleased to share a new 30-minute video resource developed in partnership with two experienced family lawyers – Tessie Little (Wide Bay Burnett Community Legal Service) and Linda Adcock (Legal Aid Queensland).

This video tackles some of the most common myths in family law, including:
  • “Children can choose where they live at age 12”
  • “Final parenting orders can’t be changed”
  • “50/50 shared care is the standard expectation in Australia”
Tessie and Linda provide clear, practical explanations that will help you better support families navigating separation and clarify some of the most persistent misunderstandings in this space.

🎥 Access the video below.

We hope this is a valuable resource for your work with families.
